ASTTBC PUBLISHES MINUTES FROM THE FIRST EVER RFPT MEETING!
Surrey, British Columbia - On the night of April 14, 1912, a ship by the name of RMS Titanic, on her maiden voyage across the Atlantic, struck an ice berg and sank taking the lives of over 1500 souls with her. The Captain deliberately ignored (even scoffed at) the warnings of other ships that had sighted “growlers” and ice flows in the area. The sea was calm and smooth as glass. The lookouts were sent aloft without binoculars, and couldn’t discern the horizon from the sea.
Fast forward to March, 2015. John Leech, AScT, CAE, the Executive Director of ASTTBC, has been listening to a chorus of warnings for over fifteen years while blithely allowing the good ship to steam along, telling all and sundry that she’s crewed by the finest technicians you’ll ever encounter. Professional. Accountable. Trained.
And the band is playing the Limbo!
