CFAA FUMBLES THE BALL!
Toronto, Ontario - May, 2013 debuted a new tool On CFAA’s website. Despite concerns expressed by a number of individuals (myself included), the fire alarm inspection estimator tool was prominently featured at the Technical Seminar held in Toronto on May 31, 2013. The calculator is missing several key fire alarm devices that include end-of-line resistors, data loop isolators, in-suite signal isolators, and in-suite buzzers! Our June EDITORIAL is sure to stir the pot a bit!

ARIZONA WILDFIRE KILLS NINETEEN FIREFIGHTERS!
Yarnell, Arizona - June 30, 2013 - Nineteen seasoned firefighters were killed when the wildfire they were attempting to suppress overwhelmed them. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of these brave men. This highlights the incredible risks taken by firefighters the world over. Wildfires in particular have incredibly unpredictable behaviours. The tragic circumstances involving this fire is currently under investigation.
